XTYMN Salmon Fish Oil 1000 mg — 60 Softgel Capsules
Whole salmon oil, at the honest end of the shelf.
1000 mg of salmon fish oil per softgel — a whole marine oil rather than a distilled concentrate. It is the simplest, least expensive way to put marine omega-3 into a daily routine.
We are precise about what this is, and about what it is not. If you want a fixed EPA and DHA split declared on the front of the label, that product is XTYMN Triple Strength — and we will point you there rather than blur the difference.
Whole oil or concentrate. It is the only question that matters in fish oil.
A concentrate is distilled so the omega-3 fraction is raised and everything else is reduced — that is how a single softgel can declare 600 mg of EPA. A whole oil is the oil as it comes from the fish: naturally rich in EPA and DHA, but not standardised to a fixed number. Both are legitimate. They are not the same purchase.
What to know before you choose a fish oil — ours or anyone else’s.
Capsule size is not omega-3 content
“1000 mg” on a fish-oil label describes the oil, not the EPA and DHA inside it. Every fish oil you compare should be compared on its EPA and DHA figures, per softgel, per day. That single habit will save you more money than any discount code.
The threshold that matters is 250 mg
The EU-authorised function claim linking EPA and DHA to the normal function of the heart is met at a combined 250 mg per day. That is the reference point worth carrying into any comparison, including a comparison of our own two products.
Omega-3 is a fat, and fats oxidise
Marine oils degrade with heat, light and time. Keep the bottle closed, cool and out of the sun, and finish it within a sensible window after opening. A rancid fish oil is worse than no fish oil.
